The Longido District Anti-Corruption Bureau (TAKUKURU) has conducted an inspection of various projects in the district worth more than 456 million shillings, and identified shortcomings in some of the projects. Speaking to reporters, the Arusha Regional PCCB Head, Zawadi Ngailo, said they had managed to save more than seven million shillings that had been paid to the contractor, which was not eligible for payment due to shortcomings identified before the project was completed.
