The waiting time for citizens at ferries in the Kigamboni and Magogoni areas – Dar es Salaam may be reduced to less than five minutes. This is after the Bakhresa Group Company launched two new modern Azam Sea Tax ferries, capable of transporting passengers quickly and efficiently.
The new ferries launched today, May 28, increase the number of Azam Sea Taxis providing services in the area to six out of eight expected to be built to help reduce congestion and passenger waiting times to cross.
This launch is part of efforts to enhance water transport in Dar es Salaam, where Azam Sea Tax ferries are expected to increase the speed of transport, improve services to citizens and assist in the development of sea transport infrastructure.
