The use of clean energy for cooking has increased from 6.9 percent in 2022 to 34 percent in 2024.
The figures were released by the Commissioner for Electricity from the Ministry of Energy, Engineer Innocent Luoga, at a meeting of renewable energy stakeholders, who have advised that efforts be made to reduce gas and electricity costs.
