A young man whose names have been withheld is wanted on suspicion of murdering his parents Godfrey Mota (60) and Blandina Ngowi (53), residents of Msufini, Msaranga Ward, Moshi District, Kilimanjaro Region.
According to a statement issued by the Kilimanjaro Regional Police Commander, Simon Maigwa, the murder took place on May 29, 2025, inside the house where the family lived in the Msufini area. Godfrey Mota's body was found with stab wounds to the neck, while Blandina's body did not have any external injuries.
Commander Maigwa said the bodies of the deceased have been kept at the Regional Referral Hospital (KCMC) for examination and other procedures in the search for the young man are ongoing.
