At the closing of the CCM Special General Assembly in Dodoma, the Party's Chairman and President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan has called on delegates to the candidate selection sessions to focus on justice and equality.
At the meeting, the chairman said that the field is open for those who want to try again and for newcomers as well, while emphasizing the party's commitment to continue building itself on the foundations of true democracy.
In the same speech, President Samia also took a dig at Kawe MP, Bishop Josephat Gwajima, following his recent statements.
Initially, the party launched its 2025-2030 Election Manifesto, carrying nine agendas, with the issue of completing the process of obtaining a New Constitution being planned.
