More than 500 stakeholders are expected to participate in the Seventh Cooperative Forum to be held in Tanga from June 4 to June 5, this year in an event that is expected to raise various opportunities and stimulate the development of the cooperative sector, which will contribute significantly to the economic growth of Tanga Region and Tanzania as a whole.
Speaking to journalists ahead of the event, Tanga Regional Commissioner, Ambassador Batilda Burian, said the platform is important for cooperative stakeholders, as it will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn and plan joint strategies to promote this important sector for the development of the people.
