The Minister of Health, Jenista Mhagama has officially launched the board of trustees of the Muhimbili Orthopedic and Brain Institute (MOI) at a ceremony held in Dodoma. At the launch, Minister Mhagama urged the board to ensure that it strengthens the specialist and specialist services provided by the important institution so that they reach more citizens in the country.

He stressed that the success of investments in the health sector will not be seen if these services do not reach the beneficiaries in need.

Minister Mhagama reminded the board members to continue the good foundations laid by MOI while adding creativity and better strategies to improve service delivery. He stressed that it is important for the board to collaborate closely with the MOI leadership to ensure that quality services continue to be provided at a high level to all citizens, regardless of their financial capabilities.

For her part, the new Chairperson of the Board, Dr. Marina Njelekela, has promised that the board will fully cooperate with the MOI Management to ensure that the institution takes greater developmental steps.

And the Executive Director of MOI, Ambassador Dr. Mpoki Ulisubisya, assured the minister that the institution will continue to work diligently and professionally to bring about positive changes in the health sector in the country.
