Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa has said that the Sixth Phase Government values the contribution of religious leaders of all denominations and will therefore continue to trust them and strengthen cooperation with them in order to build peace, solidarity and prosperity of the Nation.
"We believe you will continue the role of urging Tanzanians to recognize the importance of each one fulfilling their responsibilities in contributing to stability and strengthening solidarity among us."
The Prime Minister made the statement to leaders during the Eid Council after the completion of the Eid Al-Adha Prayer which was offered today, June 7, 2025, at the Mohamed wa Sita Mosque, Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam.
"In government, we continue to build the foundations of solidarity between believers of all denominations in the country, believing that religions have continued to make this country a peaceful country at all times." Majaliwa emphasized
The Prime Minister also emphasized that religious leaders have a great opportunity to build their followers to be respectful, civilized, tolerant and recognize that they are among the members of society and participate in developmental activities.
In addition, he urged Tanzanians to continue praying for national leaders, especially the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, so that God may give him the strength and health to continue leading this nation.
