He said this at the Youth and Environment Forum held in Dar es Salaam, as part of the World Environment Day celebrations, and explained that Tanzania has entered into an agreement with Japan on joint investment in carbon trading. Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has said the Government is committed to empowering youth to participate in carbon trading, clean energy technology and waste recycling, as part of promoting a green economy.

He said this at the Youth and Environment Forum held in Dar es Salaam, as part of the World Environment Day celebrations, and explained that Tanzania has entered into an agreement with Japan on joint investment in carbon trading.

Deputy Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Hamis Mwinjuma has said the Government has begun preparing a database for sign language interpreters in the country to identify and develop them through training.
