Citizens of Geita municipality in Geita region have been encouraged to continue using alternative energy in daily activities including coal to increase the scope of environmental protection.
The statement comes as the world celebrates the culmination of Environment Week with Tanzania leading the way in the use of renewable energy, including clean cooking fuel and alternative charcoal.
