Head teachers and parents of primary school students in the country have been urged to emphasize that students understand the importance of the environment and ways to care for it from a young age in order to preserve the knowledge to continue that trend even when they are older.
The advice was given by Oryx Gas Tanzania while they were participating in the culmination of World Environment Week by cleaning up and providing education on environmental hygiene along with the use of clean energy to students at Kisiwani Primary School in Dar es Salaam region.
