The Bus Rapid Transit Agency (DART) has signed a 12-year contract with the Emirates National Group (ENG) Company from Abu Dhabi to officially operate the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) services in Dar es Salaam.
In the initial phase, ENG will oversee the operation of the first phase of the project and bring in 177 new buses. The buses are expected to increase efficiency, reduce passenger congestion and overall improve public transport services in the city.
