The government's investment of more than 30 billion shillings in air traffic control systems in the country has contributed to the increase in airlines using the voice communication system for air traffic controllers, which began in 2023.
This was stated by the Director of Air Traffic Services (TCAA), Flora Mwanshinga in DSM at a meeting of air traffic controllers chaired by the Director of Economic Regulation of the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), Daniel Malanga on behalf of the Director General of the Authority.
