The Arusha Airport, which was used for domestic flights only, will now be used for international flights to make the region easier to reach.
This was stated by the Arusha Regional Commissioner, Paul Makonda today, June 16, 2025, while visiting the stadium and said that this is a major step that will eliminate the challenge of wasting a lot of time on the road, especially for businessmen and visitors coming from abroad for tourism activities.
For his part, Arusha Airport Manager, Edga Mwankuga, has promised to continue to manage the provision of quality services in accordance with guidelines and procedures to satisfy their customers.
