The Torch of Independence today, June 6, 2025, has arrived in Tanga region and will be carried for 11 days in all the councils of the region.
During that period, you are expected to inspect, launch and lay the foundation stone for 75 development projects worth 28.6 billion shillings.
The projects involve the education, health, water and infrastructure sectors and are starting their run in Handeni District today.
