The Registrar of the Treasury, Nehemia Mchechu, has said that for this financial year, his office has succeeded in collecting dividends of 1.028 trillion shillings from public organizations and companies in which the government has shares.
This is a 68 percent increase compared to last year, indicating the effectiveness of public resource management as well as operational success in these institutions.
He explained that this success is due to improvements in revenue monitoring and control systems, as well as good cooperation between the Treasury Registrar's office and relevant organizations.
