Mbulu MP, Flatei Massay, has said that this year's budget, if focused on the agricultural sector, will contribute significantly to boosting the national economy as well as the lives of individual citizens.
Speaking on a special UTV program ahead of the reading of the Government's Budget, Massay explained that agriculture plays an important role in the country's development, so the government should give it high priority.
He has advised the government to invest more in providing subsidies for quality seeds and agricultural inputs, along with improving the infrastructure of irrigation schemes to ensure farmers can farm reliably throughout the year.
