Geita Rural MP, Joseph Musukuma, has said he wishes to see this year's budget focused on finding new sources of revenue that will help reduce the burden on the average citizen.
He said that for a long time, some citizens have been bearing a heavy tax burden, so it is important for the government to have alternative methods to increase revenue without harming the citizens.
Musukuma made the statement during a special UTV program ahead of the reading of the Government's Budget, emphasizing that efficiency in the implementation of major infrastructure projects, along with the protection of the interests of ordinary citizens, will help push the wheel of development forward.
