Buchosa MP, Eric Shigongo, has called on the government to take more steps to control Hepatitis B, which currently affects six percent of Tanzanians.
Contributing to the Ministry of Health's budget, Shigongo has proposed that the Medical Depot (MSD) purchase hepatitis B vaccine from abroad at a low cost, a move that will help the Government vaccinate 90 percent of the population and build herd immunity against the dangerous disease.
