The Kariakoo Business Association, Dar es Salaam has presented a Special Honorary Award to the owner of SSB companies, Said Salim Bakhresa, for his significant contribution to developing business in this area and the nation as a whole.

The award, presented on the eve of June 2, 2025, was presented on his behalf to the Technical Director of Bakhresa Group, Mounir Bakhresa.

The mining sector in Mara region continues to improve rapidly, where as of May 2025, mining offices in the region had already collected 98 percent of the expected collections for the 2024/2025 financial year. The statement was made by the Mara Regional Commissioner, Colonel Evans Mtambi while speaking to journalists about the development of the sector. Colonel Mtambi made the statement before journalists ahead of a mining exhibition scheduled to begin tomorrow in Musoma Municipality.
