#NEWS: The Sixth Phase Government under President Dr. Samia Suluhu will begin the construction of the Liwale-Nanguruku road, the Minister for Works Hon. Abdallah Ulega has instructed Tanroads Lindi Region to begin the process of finding a contractor immediately.
Speaking before the people of Liwale, Hon. Ulega said that the construction of bridges on the road is already underway. He visited the Miguruwe, Zinga and Kimambi bridges where contractors are continuing with the construction of the bridges and are expected to be completed by September.
In addition, Minister Ulega also visited the Somanga-Mtama bridge and saw that contractors are at work and that the bridge is expected to be completed by September. Minister Ulega also visited the construction of the Kipwata, Mikereng'ende and Njenga bridges.
Minister Ulega is on a tour inspecting the construction of bridges and roads in Lindi and Mtwara regions.
