The Mweka Wildlife Conservation and Management Institute, in Kilimanjaro region, has initiated a program to conduct scientific and ecological research to increase tourism products in the country.
This program aims to create engaging wildlife displays as a new way to attract tourists, using legitimate wildlife remains such as hooves, horns, skins and bones.
Previous research has shown that legal hunting can be a source of valuable raw materials for innovative products that will add value to the country's tourism and conservation sectors.
