The Iringa Region Revolutionary Party, through a member of the party's central committee, Salim Abri, has urged those interested in running for various leadership positions through the party, including parliamentarians and councilors, to abandon the habit of announcing their intentions by accusing and mocking other people, which is against the party's values.
Abri made the statement while speaking to journalists where he said the act causes hatred and brings factions within the party.
He urged them to declare their intentions by explaining their priorities and what they will do for the citizens if they are granted bail and not to criticize others, adding that strict action is expected to be taken against those who do so.
