Mwanga Hakika Bank (MHB) has increased profits by 53 percent from 6.5 billion shillings in 2023 to 9.9 billion shillings in 2024, the increase was presented at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on May 31, 2025 and attended by the Board of Directors, government leaders and various stakeholders in the financial sector.
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ridhuan Mringo, explained that these achievements are the result of the bank's strategies, which aim to improve customer service and increase economic productivity.
According to the Head of Finance, Chomete Abdallah Hussein, the bank has also succeeded in increasing customer deposits by 51 percent to 214.8 billion shillings, while profit after tax rose to 14.6 billion shillings.
The bank's assets have increased to 324.9 billion, and in the first quarter of 2025, the bank has already made a profit of 4.1 billion shillings before tax, with assets worth 355.5 billion shillings.
