The Bank of Tanzania (BoT) has said that the rapid growth of financial technology (fintech) will help in growing the economy and strengthening national security in financial matters.
The statement was made in Dar es Salaam by the BoT Deputy Governor in charge of Financial Sector Regulation and Supervision, Sauda Msemo, while opening the 13th Business Outcomes Conference. He explained that the government has already launched a system to conduct financial trials before these technologies are officially introduced to the market.
