The 50th anniversary of TET is being celebrated during a period in which the government has made improvements to the education curriculum, the implementation of which is partly carried out by TET and other educational institutions in the country.
These celebrations are also marked by the presentation of the Mwalimu Nyerere Creative Writing Awards as well as the Teaching Skills Awards given to primary and secondary school teachers.
