In continuing to honor the traditions and cultures of the Hehe Tribe, the Chief of the tribe, Mtwa Adam wa Pili, has officially announced the holding of the Hehe Day celebration at his home in Kalenga Village in Iringa Region for three days starting June 17 this year.
Chief Adam said that among the major goals of the festival are to denounce the erosion of morals, especially in clothing, as well as to honor the bravery of the Hehe people against colonialism.
