Special Seats Member of Parliament, Suma Fyandom has called on the government to provide police officers working in the Mbeya Region with coats to protect them from the cold.
Responding to the request, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Daniel Sillo, said that coats to protect against extreme cold are among the uniforms that soldiers working in Mbeya region are given.
Other regions receiving coats to protect themselves from the cold are Iringa, Njombe, Songwe, Arusha, Rukwa, Manyara, Kilimanjaro, and Tanga.
