The Supreme Council of Islamic Communities and Institutions, in collaboration with the Union of Imams (UMATA), have called on politicians to stop leading citizens astray and to pursue the wrong path.
Muslims have also been urged not to imitate the crowd, but to participate fully in elections by choosing leaders who are capable of solving the challenges of the people when they reach decision-making levels.
The statement was made by Sheikh Mussa Kundecha, the Amir of the Council, at an Eid Council that aimed to provide education on the pilgrimage and emphasize the importance of unity, solidarity, and preserving Peace, which is the main symbol of Islam.
