The Commissioner General of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), Yusuph Mwenda, has warned new TRA employees not to engage in corrupt practices in the execution of their daily duties, and instead to perform their duties in accordance with the ethics of public service. He issued the warning while opening initial training for 1,896 new employees, stressing that the large number will increase efficiency in revenue collection and increase the number of taxpayers in the country.
