The Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Adolf Mkenda, has said the government is continuing with the construction of Technical Education and Training Authority (VETA) colleges in 64 districts in the country. Minister Mkenda said this in Dodoma while speaking to journalists in Dodoma about the achievements of the sixth phase government over the past four years. Minister Mkenda has said that the construction of these colleges is an implementation of the Government's strategy to ensure that more young people have access to vocational training opportunities. Minister Mkenda said that President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan ordered funds to be released to complete the construction of the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) colleges that have not been completed so that they can begin operating quickly.
