#NEWS: A team of 35 Specialist Doctors from Dr. Samia's Specialist Doctors Camp has set up camp in Songwe region and started providing specialist services for various diseases including pregnant women and children in 5 council hospitals located within the region.
Speaking immediately after receiving the team, the Mbozi District Commissioner, Mr. Hamad Mbega, on behalf of the Regional Commissioner, said the arrival of the doctors who will begin providing specialist services from May 26-31, for a total of 7 days, is an important opportunity for citizens who were spending a lot of money traveling to seek these services outside the region.
For his part, Dr. John Lawi, a Specialist in Reproductive Health and Gynecological Diseases, the leader of the team, said they hope to meet many patients due to the opportunity to be available nearby where services will be provided at normal costs and groups treated with a discount will be treated with a discount.
