
As the riots in Los Angeles against ICE agents and President Trump take a violent turn, New York City, among other cities across the US, began their own solidarity stand with protesters in Los Angeles.
Protesters took over the streets facing federal courthouse to demand ICE stop its campaign against immigrants and workers in New York.
Protesters and speakers called out the Trump administration for enforcing fascist policies against the people as they held signs acknowledging that America is made of immigrants.
One banner illustrated the common struggle of the Palestinians and the Native Americans under the imperialist regimes of the US and its allies.
Clearly, what’s going on is abnormal.
They are real …violations of law and rights and human rights. And I’m glad that there are people here to say something about it.

America is heavily militarized, the implications and the impact that they’ve had globally is incredible, and people need to understand the type of impact and message that America sends.
And for them to start spreading this hate filled regime where they’re deporting immigrants, obviously, people who built this country.
I mean, all of us come from immigrant families.

The deployment of US Marines and the National Guard in Los Angeles has angered protesters in New York who have now launched their own series of protests against ICE.
New Yorkers today are taking a stand in solidarity with the Los Angeles protesters and immigrants in a situation which could snowball into a nationwide series of anti-Trump demonstrations.
Protests across the nation have taken place in many states such as California, Texas and Colorado.
The speakers in New York highlighted the people’s unity against the capitalist and racist agenda separating families and children.

All said and done one thing is certain; the power of the immigrants, workers and the oppressed remains dominant in the face of oppression.
