The Lake Zone Meat Board has instructed the Director of Bukoba Municipality in Kagera Region to carry out infrastructure renovations at the meat slaughterhouse located in Rwamishenye to eliminate the inconvenience experienced by residents living in the area.
The board has also instructed meat shop owners and transporters to use appropriate equipment to enhance safety and avoid delivering unsafe meat to consumers.
