Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, has debunked the propaganda of “surgical strikes, no residential damage” peddled by the Zionist regime, calling it “routine barbarity.”
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Baghaei pointed to the latest Israeli regime’s aggression on civilian areas in the capital, Tehran, which primarily targeted innocent children and women.
“In just three recent strikes in Tehran, 73 women and children killed,” Baghaei wrote. “20 children killed in Chamran residential complex, 10 still remain trapped under rubble 48 hours later.”
One of the deadliest Israeli strikes in the wee hours of Friday morning targeted a residential building in northern Tehran’s Nobonyad neighborhood, killing 60 civilians, including 20 children.
Israeli propaganda: “Surgical strikes, no residential damage.”
Reality: In just three recent strikes in Tehran, 73 women and kids killed; 20 children killed in Chamran residential complex, 10 still remain trapped under rubble 48 hours later.Their ‘surgical accuracy’?!…

The building was completely leveled by the impact of the explosion, and search operations are still underway to recover bodies from beneath the debris, including those of children.
Baghaei called out the so-called “surgical accuracy” claim touted by Israeli regime officials as a grim euphemism for targeting families, women, and children.
“Their ‘surgical accuracy’?! Targeting families, kids and women…. That’s the routine barbarity,” he said.
According to an update from Iran’s Health Ministry, a total of 224 people have been killed in multiple waves of Israeli aerial strikes, which began on June 13 and have been supported by the United States.
Health ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour, in a statement issued Sunday, said that the “false slogan” that Israel targets only military sites has been exposed as baseless.
So far, 1,481 individuals have been killed or wounded in the attacks. Of those, 1,277 have been hospitalized, with more than 90 percent identified as civilians.
“So far, 522 individuals have been discharged, while 224 men, women, and children have lost their lives as a result of the attacks,” he noted.
Health Minister Mohammadreza Zafarghandi also said the majority of the victims of Israeli aggression on Iran in recent days have been civilians, including a significant number of women and children.
