IRGC vows to fight on until regime’s ‘destruction’ after intelligence chief’s martyrdom

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the martyrdom of its top intelligence official in Israeli aggression, vowing to continue striking the Zionist entity until its “complete destruction.”

In a statement released on Sunday, the IRGC said Brigadier General Mohammad Kazemi, head of the IRGC’s Intelligence Organization, was assassinated in the latest Israeli aggression.

The statement added that Kazemi’s deputy, Hassan Mohaghegh, along with Mohsen Baqeri, another senior IRGC commander, were also assassinated in the same brutal terrorist act.

The three senior IRGC commanders were targeted in a residential area.

The IRGC condemned the assaults as acts of aggression carried out by “the delusional and brutal Zionist regime’s army.”

In retaliation, it added, the IRGC’s aerospace division launched a new wave of missile strikes against the regime’s intelligence centers, marking the third phase of Operation True Promise III.

This operation began on Friday night in response to deadly Israeli aggression earlier that day on multiple locations across the country, including the capital, Tehran, leading to the assassination of many top-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, as well as civilians.

So far, during Operation True Promise III, the IRGC has launched coordinated missile and drone strikes against critical and strategic sites across the occupied Palestinian territories, including locations in Tel Aviv and the occupied port city of Haifa.

These strikes have targeted key facilities such as airbases used to launch the regime’s attacks, military and intelligence centers, industrial complexes, and fighter jet production sites.

Numerous videos have surfaced on social media showing Iranian ballistic missiles penetrating multiple layers of the much-hyped air defense systems deployed by the regime.

The Iranian retaliation has also seen the downing of several F-35 fighter jets—the pride of the regime’s air force—as well as scores of drones.

The IRGC statement further addressed “the supporters of this criminal regime,” mainly referring to the United States and other Western allies of Tel Aviv.

“Let these supporters know that effective and targeted operations against the vital objectives of this bogus regime will continue until its complete destruction,” it warned.
