A Hamas leader says that Iran’s missile retaliation against the Israeli regime sends a clear message; anyone who attacks will pay the price.
“Dozens of precision-guided missiles and drones successfully struck their targets deep inside the occupied territories, despite all the hype surrounding [the Israeli regime’s] missile shield systems like the Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow,” Izzat al-Rishq said.
Iran’s powerful response to the Zionist regime’s aggression proved that no act of impudence will go unanswered, and no act of aggression will go unpunished, he added.
Iran launched its retaliatory operation “True Promise III” following a series of Israeli attacks by firing a barrage of missiles toward the occupied Palestinian territories on Friday night.
The operation began immediately after the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, delivered a televised message, saying that the “despicable” Israeli regime would be “rendered helpless” following reprisal by the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces.
The Leader said the Zionist regime made a “big mistake, a grave error” and added that the consequences will “ruin them.”
Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said at least 150 targets were struck during the retaliatory operation against the Israeli regime, including several critically strategic military bases.
The retaliatory operation followed the Israeli military’s US-backed assassination of high-ranking Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists early Friday, which also martyred over 70 civilians, including women and children.
The Tel Aviv regime also carried out large-scale military aggression in multiple locations inside Iran, targeting nuclear facilities, military infrastructure, and residential buildings in Tehran and other cities.
