
At the offices of the United States Senate, police arrested multiple members of Doctors Against Genocide.The pro-Palestinian group of health care workers had planned to hold a press conference to call attention to Israel’s shocking refusal of health care treatment for indiscriminately bombarded, starved and besieged Gazans.
The arrests were not unexpected, as pro-Palestinian voices have been targeted, harassed, prosecuted and even deported, across the United States, with no end in sight for this state-sponsored discrimination.
And they will do it again. And we will, we will keep doing it as long as it takes to get something to change.
But the other thing we’re doing here is we’re going up into these offices, and we’re meeting with senators, representatives and their staffers, and we’re challenging them.

With Israel banning foreign journalists since the start of their attempted genocide in Gaza, healthcare workers have been vital in transmitting the often horrific facts on the ground.
The situation in Gaza, not only from the deterioration of the healthcare sector in general, but also the mass starvation that is actually happening since March 2, and even before that, people were having malnutrition issues.
Now over 90% of the population is at crisis level food insecurity. So you can, you can imagine what the situation is, It’s devastating.
Those doctors serving these hospitals that get bombarded, that some of them are actually there while these things are happening and it’s just nonstop attack on health care.

One month after their onslaught began, the Western mainstream media refused to believe that Israel would violate international law and bombard the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
Eighteen months later, the United Nations World Health Organization just reported that at least 94% of all hospitals in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed, with North Gazans having no working hospital to receive any medical care at all.
It’s part of a strategy to destroy Palestinian society. What are the pillars of a society, any society? Education, food, shelter, and, medical care, and so they have destroyed every university in Gaza, all 12 of them. And they filmed it. They just they’ve essentially destroyed every hospital in Gaza.

From California to the capital, the United States continues to suppress pro-Palestinian speech, causing major damage to the nation’s reputation as an alleged bastion of freedom of expression.
