Eight members of the same family who were sleeping last night, Sunday June 1, 2025, have narrowly escaped death after their house caught fire and completely burned down in Omukigando Subdistrict, Kashambya Village, Gera Ward, Misenyi District.
The village's Executive Officer, Jonia John, said the incident occurred at 8pm and the fire destroyed all the belongings inside the house. Despite the absence of injuries, the family has lost everything they had.
