Tanzania has continued to distinguish itself internationally through food tourism, a type of tourism that attracts visitors interested in learning about local traditions, cultures, and recipes.
At the recent Food Tourism Conference held in Arusha, visitors from various countries tasted local recipes while being pampered by the taste of wild meat prepared in accordance with laws and regulations.
The organizers of the conference have said the goal is to boost the tourism sector through food culture, while communities are encouraged to participate fully by selling their local foods.
Guests who attended expressed admiration for the creativity of Tanzanian chefs, saying food is a bridge connecting nations and a new economic opportunity for the country.
