The government, through the Ministry of Energy, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Fund (UNCDF), has said it will continue to educate various groups in society to increase awareness about the importance of abandoning the use of unhygienic cooking fuels.

The statement was made in Dar es Salaam by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Feleschemi Mramba, during a press conference ahead of the launch of the national clean cooking energy campaign, which is expected to be officially launched on June 2 this year in Dodoma region.
